At last! The local Zoo opened nearly two weeks ago, but due to cold, rainy and windy weather (it snowed the day the zoo opened!) we haven't been able to go until now. Hazel loved the monkeys and the boys enjoyed the new penguin exhibit and even participated in the fish counting game. We enjoyed lunch there as well as a train ride. We ran into 11 Mommies and their kiddos we knew there... so probably over 20 friends! We didn't get to visit with many of them as the kids were on the move, but hopefully we'll see everyone out and about now that the weather has decided to cooperate!
