This week we learned about the moon. We started Monday off talking about what we already know about the moon and what we don't know. We then learned about how the moon reflects the suns light. Since last week we learned Jesus is the Light of the World (ie: sun), this week we learned that we can reflect His Love and how we can be a Light to the World. We leaned about the letter 'M' and Korben had 6 spelling words to focus on that had to do with the moon, space, etc. We also read a lot of books about the moon (I love our library system!) and will end today watching Bill Nye as he teaches about the moon. The boys favorite part was learning about the phases of the moon. We got to watch the moon outside this week move from a half moon (Quarter) to a waning gibbous to a full moon. Lots of fun!

Our moon has been gorgeous here too ~ love that we now see it more since we've moved. :)
The list you made of what you know/don't know is great.
We're planning to use some of the space printables that are floating out there in bloggy land this week too. My girls have been begging me to get their hands on it ever since I got the stuff off the printer! Glad you all had fun with it!
