I was excited to teach our first co-op lesson this month! We have 4 families participating with a total of 12 kiddos (6 actually attend the lesson while the others enjoy a playdate!).
I chose the character trait of Patience. Together we read from Genesis about Abraham and Sara waiting for their son to be born, and how they had hope in the promise God made to them. We watched a Veggie Tales flick, acted out ways we can be patient, and each child did copywork of the definition of patience as a character trait (waiting with a Happy Heart).
...and boy did those kids wait! Because I tempted them with these babies!
And they were all so good and patient, waiting to enjoy the bounty.
