When we arrived in Denver late Friday night, our Uncles had an array of food for us to snack on. The girls went to bed and the big boys enjoyed an evening stroll with Uncle mark where they discovered a dill plant and spotted bats. We arose early (remember- my kids wake up early, toss them into mountain time and it's 5 or 5:30 there!!) We enjoyed breakfast before heading out to the Denver Children's Museum. This place was GREAT! We love our museum here, but this one had so many different exhibits. Hazel played dress up and tap danced with Uncle mark, William helped the boys construct with real tools and all three enjoyed the bubble exhibit. The best, though, was heading outside where each kid made their own paper rocket and then could launch it up a hill that measured the distance of the flight. We were here so long that the kids didn't eat lunch until after 2! Hazel conked out in the car on the way to the best Vietnamese Restaurant I have ever been to. We ended our day with a dip in the pool and playing Just Dance on the Wii (Korben beat both Uncle mark and Uncle William... but Mark would have me say that it was only by 3 points).
