Light of Dawn Tot School

Tot School isn't really what it sounds like... well, ok, it's "school" for Hazel. It gives her fun activities so that she feels like an active participant during our regular school time. It's fun learning for her- mostly comprised of games and other activities that she enjoys. It gives me a chance to sit with her while the boys work independently and it also provides Korben and Eli time to demonstrate character building skills such as patience, kindness, leadership, teaching, service and attentiveness. Its always a fun time. If it ever becomes not-so-fun, we stop. She is never forced to join us, but she has the option and so far has chosen to do so every day. We have been working on attention-span, pre-reading skills, colors and sizes. Here are a few examples of the work we've done. I'll be posting more Tot School Projects as the year goes on!
