Inks Lake

This weekend we spent the day at Inks Lake, just about an hour northwest of Austin. My parents took the camper out and spent Friday-Sunday out there, but we went out for only the day on Saturday. The boys had a BLAST in the lake. Korben went kayaking with Daddy and Opa (Eli was scared of the boat) and had fun covering Oma in mud, grit and shells from the bottom of the lake. Eli collected as many goodies as he could find and was completely grossed out by the mud gunk collecting on Oma's legs and the mud and sand he'd get on his hands each time he reached for a shell. Korben was so excited he couldn't nap... he just kept going and going and going.... and crashed on the way home in under 5 minutes! We saw lots of cool animals, grilled out, enjoyed s'mores and all sorts of other camping excitements.
